CanaryClim - Fine scale Topo-Climate datasets and plant distribution modelling
This project first aims to generate fine-scale climatic and topographic variables for Canary Islands (see Patiño & Collart et al, 2023). We managed to generate at 100m resolution 19 bioclimatic variables, monthly minimum and maximum temperature, and monthly amount of precipitation for the years 1979-2013 and also generate future maps (2071-2100) using 5 Global Circulation Models and 3 shared socio-economic pathways (Link to the dataset). For topography, we produced several metrics such as in Amatulli et al. (2018, Sci. Data) at 2m resolution and aggregated them to 100m resolution (Link to the dataset).

The next step is to use these data notably to predict the impact of climate chang on all species living in the Laurel forest.
